Corey Holmes tells the Delta News the Bobby Henry Memorial pool should be open by June 6th.

The Bobby Henry Memorial Pool was closed last summer due to technical issues with the filtration system. The parks and recreation committee has begun work on the pool and its new look.

This year the Greenville City Council allocated $600,000 to parks and recreation this fiscal year. Both Mayor Errick Simmons and Holmes expressed their joy in the opening of the pool.

This is Greenville's only public pool.
