Greenwood-Leflore Chamber of Commerce Holds 'Generations in the Workplace' Seminar

The Greenwood-Leflore Chamber of Commerce held its Generation in the Workplace Seminar on Wednesday.

The free workshop was presented by Mississippi University Extension Experts. The goal is to learn about how 5 generations, The Greatest Generation, The Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials are working side by side in today's workforce.

It also gave incite on how you can understand how each generation communicates and processes information for a better work environment.

Beth Stevens, Executive Director of the Greenwood-Leflore Chamber says, "We know that when everybody works together as a team, and understands how each other communicates and what different people value that it definitely makes for a better work environment. We do like to provide different opportunities for our Chamber members, and for the community at large just to come and learn things that will help them better their lives and better their businesses."
