A cooling trend across the interior will kick off Saturday as a mid to upper level trough begins to drop southward from Western Canada into the Pacific Northwest. Afternoon highs will drop anywhere from 7 to 15 degrees from Friday, although some of the warmest spots will reach into the 90s. Temps will continue downward on Sunday leaving highs across the interior into the upper 60s to around 80 in some of the warmer valleys. North to Northeast winds will increase this weekend, especially on Sunday. Winds will weaken early Monday and afternoon highs will slightly warm again.
