One local restaurant reopens its doors today after being closed for months due a fire. Sherman's at south main had its grand opening today (October 5) and welcomed customers for the first time since the tragic fire that burned the back side of the original restaurant at the intersection of reed road and south main street back in January. It's new location used to be south main market and deli but it now has a new name.

Allison Nimrod: "We are so excited to finally be open. We burned in January and we really basically been looking for a home since then. So we cannot wait to serve all of our customers and we are full speed ahead."

Well... The phone never stopped ringing as many people were calling in to order their favorite dishes that they haven't been able to have in a awhile. The new owners are excited to serve the city of Greenville and surrounding areas for lunch and dinner.
