Thursday is the deadline to apply for federal assistance in recovering from the March 24-25 severe weather. Homeowners interested in help with recovery must submit applications to the Federal Emergency Management Agency by 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
You must file an insurance claim first. Assistance may be available if your insurance does not cover all of the damage to your property.
