Leflore County Supervisor, Anjuan Brown, tells the story of how he found out the life of great grandmother's grandfather after seeing a commercial from the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. The commercial showed a picture and Brown just so happened to have this same picture in his possession, given to him by his grandmother.

Brown knew his great, great, great grandfather was a slave, but that's is all he knew, until he decided to reach out to the museum. The museum gave him a plethora of information and he continues to put the pieces together.
