Officials investigating after a seed house in Hollandale catches fire.

According to Hollandale Volunteer Fire Chief, Albert Jernigan, a building storing cotton seeds on the Monsanto Company grounds also known as DP & L caught fire.

A Hollandale police captain said, she saw flames coming from the building while making rounds this Friday morning around 11 o'clock.

Chief Jernigan called in multiple fire departments from around Washington County to help control and extinguish the blaze.

Jernigan said, he's not sure how long it will take fire fighters to take to put out the fire, but explains some of a plan of action.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
